Vo. Gt.久米雄介がYoutubeにアップロードした”Special Favorite Music”という曲が、バンド名の由来。
年齢とジャンルの違うメンバーによる調和と違和感を大切にしている。
これまでに中国大陸・台湾を含むアジアツアーを行い、2nd AL “Royal Blue”は全国のラジオ27局でパワープレイとしてかかるなど多方面で精力的に活動。
2019年10月より7人の大人数編成から3人体制の活動へ移行し、結成10周年を迎える2024年に新メンバーを迎えて再出発した。

The band name “Special Favorite Music” originates from a song uploaded to YouTube by vocalist and songwriter Yusuke Kume.
The group values both harmony and the sense of dissonance created by members of different ages and musical backgrounds.
In October 2019, they transitioned from a seven-member ensemble to a three-member format.
In 2024, the band’s 10th anniversary, they welcomed new members and embarked on a fresh start.
